Possibility
I heard something this week that I couldn’t shake. Amy Porterfield, a marketing voice I follow, was talking about something she calls the “Possibility Path.”
It goes like this:
First, there’s the Present—where you are right now. Maybe holding questions you can’t quite answer. A little restless. Not quite clear on what’s next, but aware that something needs to shift.
Then comes the Pain—the messy middle. That in-between space where life feels uncertain. Where you’re no longer who you were… but not yet who you’re becoming. I think most of us live here more than we’d like to admit.
And finally, there’s Possibility—the peace and clarity and purpose we long for. The life we hope is waiting. The one that feels more whole.
Do you think much about what’s possible for your life?
Lately, I’ve been sitting with that question. A lot.
You are on time.
Here’s the thing: the messy middle isn’t a mistake.
You’re not behind. You’re being formed.
I think about the phrase, “trust the process.” And I think of the refining fire in Scripture. It’s not always a breakthrough that changes us—it’s often the quiet, hidden work. The holding on. The showing up.
Truthfully? It’s not easy.
Parenting with grace and intention takes more than good intentions.
Living in line with your values doesn’t happen just because you said them out loud.
Health setbacks and emotional valleys don’t get fixed in a weekend.
Discovering your purpose isn’t a one-click answer.
But I’m learning this: becoming who we’re called to be isn’t about rushing past the discomfort. It’s about walking through it—on purpose.
You might not be where you hoped you’d be by now.
But you are not late. You are being shaped.
Big Idea: Create more, consume less.
This is something I’m wrestling with right now.
It’s easy to scroll, watch, listen, read, take in, repeat.
But I’ve started asking myself—when will it ever feel like enough?
What if the missing piece isn’t more content…
but more creating?
That’s what this email is for me. A small act of creation. A way to live a little more awake.
And maybe a way to invite you to do the same.
Favorite Podcast
It’s not one episode, but I’m eating up Adam Young’s “The Place We Find Ourselves” right now. He’s a therapist and talks all things story, trauma, and therapy. It’s given me a better understanding of myself and my story, something every person should give a shot!
Books I’m Reading
